Terms of Service

By installing or using CustomEase (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Service Description

CustomEase is a Shopify application that provides product customization services, including design areas, templates, customer design creation tools, and print-ready file generation.

2. Eligibility and Permissions

You must have an active Shopify store and be at least 18 years old. By installing the App, you authorize us to access your Shopify data through OAuth scopes: read_products, write_products, read_orders, and read_customers. We access only the minimum data necessary and use customer information solely for order fulfillment, never for marketing or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for illegal purposes, violate intellectual property rights, upload malicious content, reverse engineer the App, or violate Shopify's Terms of Service.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to use your content to provide the App's services. The App and its code are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

5. Fees

The App is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce fees with 30 days' notice. If fees are introduced, billing will be through Shopify's billing system.

6. Disclaimers and Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED A REASONABLE MINIMUM AMOUNT (OR, IF FEES ARE INTRODUCED, THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the App, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, or content you upload.

8. Termination and Modifications

You may terminate by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, we will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may modify these Terms at any time with notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law and Contact
